Coomera Springs State School Emblems

When Coomera Springs State School were ready to move ahead with planning and organising their School Houses, colours and Emblems the school asked for suggestions.

We prepared the following suggestions based on the School, it's location, the history behind the School Logo (also designed by Feet Up Online) and used local aboriginal words to re-enforce all of these things.

The understanding behind the emblems is as follows:

Ballun means River and is coloured blue to represent water.  This represents the Coomera River.

Tugai means Mountain.  This emblem is a representation of the hills on which the school is located and surrounded.  The red is a reflection of the School logo colour.

Tharagum means yellow in the local tongue.  This emblem is a protrayal of the lush surroundings of the school and represents foilage.

Kaban means Rainforest and is represented as trees.  The school has full grown trees on the property and plans to plant a rainforest environment to be used in teaching as a learning environment.
