Welcome to my blog.  What's it for?  Well this is where I intend to impart some of my knowledge on you my readers and my customers.   What do I have to offer?  Well, Free Stuff of course!

There are lots of resources and software available for free on the Internet.  All of it is intended to entice you to spend money on big brother versions, but if you can make do with what is on offer, you may save yourself lot's of money!

Free Backup - Mozy

Free Online Backup of your critical files. Imagine if your PC burnt out tomorrow.  Do you have a copy of everything you need?  How do you get the information back?

A colleague of mine had his Hard Disk fail in his home PC 6 months ago.  When he realised he had lost a lot of his digital family photos he was quite panicked.  He took his computer to a specialist disk recovery company and they quoted $1400 to get the photos back.  How precious are your photos?

Buzzword - Free Online Word Processor

Looking for a word processor that's not going to cost you a bomb?  Check out https://buzzword.acrobat.com/

Buzzword is an online word processor that uses Adobe's Flex solution for providing polished user interfaces and a very interactive user experience.

What's more, the word processor itself is very usable.

This site is still reasonably new, but keep an eye on it as they add features to it and expand on its usefulness.
